Shire County Council of Norfolk elections from 1973 to 2017


A total of 251 Shire County Council Wards held elections in Norfolk between 1973 and 2017. The database holds elections for 12 separate years over the 45 year period. Norfolk held whole council elections once every four years. This can create a situation where an unhappy electorate can replace an entire council in a single election. As a result, these councils can appear to be more volatile than those with partial council elections.
